My Story
Cherry Shephard
Hello, I'm Cherry Shephard, and I've been immersed in media broadcasting since 1995, embarking on a fulfilling journey that has taken me from Oklahoma, Texas, to Germany, and finally settling here in Colorado since 2000. Over the years, particularly in Colorado Springs, I've noticed numerous Christian media outlets, yet few seem to actively engage ministries of color. This realization has fueled my desire to create a platform tailored specifically for churches and ministries of color, providing a stronger voice within our local Colorado communities and serving as a bridge to foster unity in our shared mission of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
While our primary focus is on Kingdom events sponsored by the local church and ministries, we also aim to spotlight Christian businesses, non-profits, public service announcements, celebrations of life, and more.
That's a brief glimpse into my journey and why I am compelled to launch KCN. I extend a warm invitation to join Kingdom Colorado News (KCN) and embark on this journey together, discovering how it can amplify the impactful work you're doing within our local communities.

As a pioneering platform for Christian ministries and businesses of color to share their events, initiatives, and services, we are actively expanding our reach across various social media channels. We warmly invite you to join Kingdom Colorado News and grow alongside kingdom ministries of color from across Colorado. Although KCN’s primary focus is promoting Kingdom events of people of color, we are open to share news, events, and public announcements for the Body of Christ across the Colorado region.
Below, you will find our current statistics and future projections. KCN will provide monthly updates to showcase our continuous growth and inform potential partners about opportunities to engage with your events and services. Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
KCN will air after 12:00pm MST every Monday and reair on Wednesday & Friday. Tune in across six Facebook pages, two Instagram pages, and the KCN YouTube channel.
